Can you teach students how to think? This professional text is a researched-based approach to help students think critically. In Making Thinking Visible you can learn thinking routines to use with students in order to get them to think more deeply in order to learn better. This text explains that students learn better when they are allowed the time to think about the concepts and content taught. You can use a See-Think-Wonder to spark curiosity about a topic or Headlines where students have to summarize in one headline what they have learned. These thinking exercises are just a few in the book that can be used to help students think more in depth about what they are learning or what they have learned.
