“I definitely LOVED this book. I feel that it is exactly the type of book that I like and I would recommend it to someone if they asked for a recommendation. The plot was phenomenal and so was each little event that occurred.”Jacqueline G. wrote this review Wednesday, October 30, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“This book was very interesting because there was a lot of mystery. A girl named Luna lost her mother and she wants to know what leads up to her mothers death. Luna finds her mothers phone in her studio while cleaning it out and the phone has 7 messages left on it, and is fully charged. As she listens to these messages she puts together information that she found out to see if she can figure out who was with her mother the night that she died.
“A book about love and forgiveness "You hurt me, but I love you" that is very well done. Luna's growing understanding of the fact that her parents aren't perfect is true to life. Once she realizes that their mistakes were made to protect her, she can begin to find peace. And when she forgives them, she also learns to forgive others who have hurt her, and to forgive herself.
t's been a year since Luna's mother, the fashion-model wife of a successful film director, was hit and killed by a taxi in New York's East Village. Luna, her father, and her little brother, Tile, are still struggling with grief.
When Luna goes to clean out her mother's old studio, she's stunned to find her mom's cell phone there—charged and holding seven unheard messages. As Luna begins to listen to them, she learns more about her mother's life than she ever wanted to know . . . and she comes to realize that the tidy tale she's been told about her mother's death may not be the whole truth. ”
“Fifteen,Moon,Luna three names one crush one brother one father and one dead mother. Luna has found her mothers cell phone and is listening to her messages. Love and family are not always simple. ”Mary Raccuia wrote this review Wednesday, July 3, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“ You Have Seven Messages wasn’t really thought it was going to be. It had some mystery going on, but it didn’t really get me to thinking. Most of it what happened was predictable. It wasn’t a book I couldn’t put down. It did have a lot of details and really made you feel like you were there. It was well written it was just not my personal style. I would recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries and a little romance. ”Heather wrote this review Thursday, November 29, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“Great book! The author is great at keeping it to the point, and he doesn't spend to much time getting all of the basic info to you in the beginning, it gets exciting right away! Fabulous story line too.”Ellie wrote this review Thursday, June 13, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“It was interesting, too extravagant for me, but quite the plot twists.”Daniela wrote this review Tuesday, September 25, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“Luna's mother has died a year ago by now. She was a successful film director and such and was hit by a car. Her father and little brother Tile are still so sad. When Luna cleans out her mothers room, she finds her phone; charged and with 7 messages unread. The listens to each one and finds out clues about her mother and her mothers death. Are secrets still be told? She wants to know! ”18kdorgan wrote this review Friday, September 21, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“I liked this book. Even though I'm a staunch advocate for fidelity, that's not always how others live. Infidelity causes pain to so many more than the initial individuals overcoming that pain is beautifully depicted here.”Amy B wrote this review Tuesday, June 26, 2012.
