“Not very good. Supposed to be a social commentary/satire. I feel that Whitehead tried a little too hard, and quite a bit of veiled racism in the book as well. A lot of the elements of the book seemed to be forced, especially how the plot was unraveled. Manipulative in a bad way. Trying to be creative, but didn't carry it out all that well in my opinion. The way I see it, Whitehead had an interesting story idea, but a difficult time following through to the end with the idea. Fleshing it out...”
