• Fumi Manjoume: A high-school girl with pensive and delicate manners; yet she has a standoffish allure and an unusually high stature. She is very shy, and has a weakness for complying, which makes it difficult for her to understand her relationship with people, especially in regards to her sexuality. She often relies on her childhood friend Akira Okudaira.
• Akira Okudaira: An energetic and transparent high-school girl. She is looking forward to enjoy high school life and friends. Now that she is beginning to understand that becoming a young lady is not as straightforward of a task as she once thought, she wants to gain independence and experience. She is a loyal friend to Fumi Manjoume.
• Yasuko Sugimoto: Fumi’s high school upperclassman. She is the canonical prince-like character in lesbian-related manga: athletic, popular, studious, friendly, and defiant. Although she is aware of her privileged position in an all-girls school, an unresolved crush is the main source of her well-disguised lack of confidence. She takes a daring initiative to flirt with Fumi.
• Chizu Hanashiro: Fumi’s older female cousin. A playful seductress.
• Kyouko Ikumi: Akira’s classmate and first friend in Fujigaya’s School for girls. A beautiful and delicate young lady, who has an implacable crush on Yasuko Sugimoto. She is courted and befriended by Ko Sawanoi.
• Yasan, Pon and Mogii: Fumi’s classmates. Social and cheerful, they are the sole members of the Matsuoka High School drama club.
• Ko Sawanoi: Kyoko’s arranged fiancé.
• Shinobu Okudaira: Akira’s older, jealous, and clingy brother.
