You should probably skim through the first book before starting this one because White dives right in. This book picks right up and dives right in. If you don't remember what happened in the last book you'll be lost. The writing is still pretty childish and the author even makes up her own words like 'cleavagization' [found on page 78]. Also instead of cursing White uses the word 'bleep' which is slightly annoying and its hard to take main character, Evie, seriously. You are introduced to a new character named Jack who really reminds me of Puck from 'A Mid-Summer Nights Dream'. He is very funny and adds a lot of comidic value. It was a bummer that there wasn't much of a climax. I didn't feel like the book really built or went anywhere. You can also easily tell who the 'bad guy' is before its truly revealed.
