“This was definitely a Grisham light. I much prefer his meatier novels such as a Time to Kill. It was a sort of fun read, but you knew where it was going and the characters were definite "characters". David Zinc is a young lawyer working way too many hours in a huge firm when one day he cracks and spends all day in a bar. At the end of the day he stumbles into a "boutique" law firm run by Finley and Figg who are both pretty pathetic excuese for lawyers. Wally Figg thinks he has a perfect get rich scheme when he hears about possible problems with a wonder drug and decides to take on the big pharaceutical company. The problem is he has no idea what he is doing, but in steps David Zinc as a new lawyer for the firm -- not that he has any experience in this area either....”
