- Steve Havelock: Jane's husband - he's an IT guy for a pharmaceutical company. Likes to hang out with his guy friends, playing golf or whatever, having a few beers, talk about their wives disrespectfully.
- Rob Manteo: simple-minded handyman, an enigma, enormous - 6'5 and muscles on top muscles. The men call him "The Caveman" because he's so big and doesn't speak in full sentences.
- Allie: Jane and Steve's 4 year old daughter
- Duane Rockingham: A Detective in a nearby township police department who listens when Jane calls worried about something she had seen the house where here handyman was staying.
