“An excellent overview of the raid at Harper's Ferry by John Brown and his men which led to secession and the civil war. Reading this book, you see that not much has changed on the political landscape, just nuances and a vastly larger union, and people as subjects to corporate owners today. The south still has the same kind of "secessionist sway" it is just enacted within the Republican party today and has eliminated most forms of moderation. ”
