• Derek: A half-fae boy with the gift to sense animals' and people's emotions. Empathic. Also able to communicate with animals.
• Lucas: Werewolf. Ice blue eyes, tall, 18, and dark hair. Met Kylie when she was 6. Were neighbors when they were little.
• Holiday: a fairy, and a leader at Shadow Falls camp. She also has the ability to see ghosts.
