The focus on designing type makes it a little unusual and the organization of the book by letter is a refreshing change from the average book which is origanized by type face and/or historical period. This is organized more like an art school course on designing type. It is extremely well done and I do not care how many books you have read on type, I think you will find new perspectives in this book.”
