“Something very similar to the situation in this book happened during my freshman year of high school. It was hard on me and I was not in any way involved except for this man was my teacher. It changed his life drastically. Not only was his career ruined but also his wife's, who was also a teacher at the middle school. What happened in my school was not nearly as complicated as what happened in the book but this story really shows how lives can be dramatically changed by a "little lie".”
