  • Juliet Capulet: Narrator. She is now a spirit who inhabits other people's bodies in order to serve the Ambassadors'. She is sent to help soul mates find love in each other to better the world. But her emotions get too involved and she ends up falling in love. She has taken over Ariel's body and must find a way to unite two unknown soul-mates.
  • Romeo Montague: 2nd Narrator. He serves the Mercenaries, who plot against good. Violence, killing, and blood are what drive them. Romeo has taken over Dylan's body in order to complete his cause. He finds Juliet and tries to make her fall back in love with him.
  • Gemma: Ariel's best friend. She needs to have a guy at her side, and she is very mean to Ariel. She does care for Ariel, but sometimes her hurtful comments prove otherwise.
  • Ariel: Juliet has taken over her body. Ariel is a fragile young girl who was in an accident when she was six resulting in a scar across her face. She hates Dylan because of how he treated her.
  • Ben: He falls in love with Juliet.
  • Dylan Stroud: He dies in a car crash, but Romeo takes over his body in an attempt to foil Juliet's plans for good.
  • Melanie: Ariel's mother. She is very critical of her daughter
  • Mr. Stark: In charge of the music production, West Side Story, at the high school
  • Mike: Mr. Stark's student teacher. Helps with the play.
  • Jason: Dylan's best friend.
  • Nancy: The nice woman who works at the bakery in town.
