Kaya loves to ride and is very good at it. It's hard for her not to brag about it. One day, when she's supposed to be watching her little brothers, she starts bragging to some boys. They challenge her to a race and she does it. After she wins the race, she finds that her brothers are gone. She finds them unharmed in the woods, but all the children in the village get whipped because of her. She earns the nickname "Magpie", and will she ever be able to get rid of it?
