It's not often that I found a novel set close to where I was born in Northwestern Ontario...so I was excited to read "Northwest Angle" by William Kent Krueger. Somehow I also missed knowing that the title is an informal name used by Northwestern Ontario/Minnesota to refer to their part of the world. This is the 12th book in a series whose titles all indicate a connection to my favorite setting. Regrettably, though, it's a potboiler though, with questionable insights into native American rites. I may try one or two more of the series to give it a fair evaluation.
