Boring, tries to tie in to the old hard boiled detective stories without succeeding.
I´m reading and I probably never finish the book

A great series. I read the first two books years ago and was only mildly hooked. A friend who had just finished the tenth book told me to start again because I was missing out. What I found is that while the first four books were entertaining, something happened to Jim Butcher by book five. Wow. That's all I can say. Now after 13 books I wait with anticipation for every book. I have even reread the series once while waiting. I gave them to a friend who isn't a fantasy reader and even he was hooked. Start reading them, you won't be disappointed.

Dresden files series was one of the first urban fantasy novels i ever read i started in 2010.
My interest was heated by dreden files tv show a few years back, the tv show was bearable, but nothing else.
Imagine my suprisse when i found that the books were great, much more than i ever expected them to be.
Later i understood why the first two novels of the series were a bit harder to read than the rest , pleasant but harder.
Beacuse it was the first thing ever written by the author, and yet it was a masterpiece!
