- Ava Delaney: She is a hybrid - a human who has vampire poison running through her veins. She seems to feel more human than vampire, except when the thirst rises up uncontrollably inside of her. When she meets Peter Brannigan she is instantly attracted to him even though she has fought for seven years to avoid having contact with any humans.
- Carl: A human that Ava accidently made her servant. Now he follows her around like a little lost puppy dog! He keeps offerings Ava his neck knowing that she is craving his blood but not knowing that she could kill him. He really freaks out when Peter Brannigan first meets Ava.
- Nancy Delaney: Ava Delaney's Grandmother, who initially thought Ava was a monster,but now realizes she was just a confused scared girl.
- Peter Brannigan: He is a Vampire Hunter who completely freaks out and clocks Ava under her eye the first time he meets her. He is under the mistaken assumption that she is a full vampire.
- Eddie Brogan: A Spell Caster that helps Ava control her bloodlust cravings and much more.
- Tony: Her vampire ex boyfriend who tries to find her
- Aruther: A vampire who tried to drink Carl's blood.
- Becca: A good friend of Peter who has a immedate disliking towards Ava and Carl.
