Baptiste Housing Projects in Brooklyn is the place Junior has chosen to become his cash cow. With his girlfriend Shondra, who is a resident of Baptiste, on his side he becomes one of the biggest dealers in the area. Junior employs two guys from Baptiste, Lakim and Kendu, to assist him with his operation and everything goes fine for three years, that is, until KB, one of the local stick up kids, gets wind of Junior’s thriving business from Kendu. Once KB tells Stump, his leader, they both plot to rob Junior of his riches with the help of Junior’s worker Kendu. Stump and KB’s plan backfire when Kendu warns his friend Lakim of the plot and Lakim informs Junior. While Junior prepares for the set up, his cousin Craig comes around and Junior tells him of the impending plot to rob him. Junior, Lakim and Craig all prepare for the set up and shortly after a shoot out erupts to thwart the attempted robbery. No one is hurt in the encounter but Kendu is being sought out by Junior’s crew and Stump’s crew so he must flee. Junior also has to leave Baptiste and plot his own revenge on Stump and his crew.

While Junior is away plotting his revenge, he temporarily hands the reigns over to his now trusted worker Lakim. During Junior’s absence in Baptiste, La hires new workers and makes changes to the operation that brings Junior even more money than before. As La is making changes and running the operation, Junior finds out that Shondra’s best friend Gloria is dating KB. Junior asks Shondra to extract information on KB from Gloria so he can exact his revenge. Shondra’s loyalty for her man holds precedence over her friendship with Gloria so she carries out the deed without letting Gloria know her intentions. While Shondra pumps Gloria for information, Junior starts a steamy affair with Muffin, an old girlfriend from his past. Muffin becomes obsessed with Junior and he decides to use her as his ‘ride or die’ chick.

Everything in going fine in Junior’s world, he is making more money in Baptiste, thanks to La and his changes, he has Muffin muling his drugs for him, and he has Shondra getting important information on one of his enemies so he can get his revenge. All this changes after disloyalty and betrayal becomes evident after a robbery at a nightclub. Junior almost loses his life in the club robbery, Gloria finds out Shondra betrayed their friendship and Shondra has a physical encounter with Muffin. The conflict intensifies when Junior finds out through Muffin that the disloyalty he experienced did not end at Kendu. Muffin is faced with making a decision that will reveal if blood is really thicker than water. Once Junior finds out about the plot to take over his thriving operation in Baptiste, he and his cousin come up with a plan to thwart the take over attempt. This doesn’t end the disloyalty because in a shocking turn of events, he is then set up when he goes to the aid of Shondra. Ending with him facing a closed door and the police behind him with guns drawn.

    Junior
  • ““You buggin’. It’s gonna be hotta’ than fish grease ova there. You gotta be easy, cuz, ‘cause if you go over there slippin’, you gon’ fuck around and get locked up, or you might get your ass flattened.””
    Craig
  • ““K baby, I don’t know what to tell you. I mean, I don’t know what to say to that. One thing I do know is that I will stand by you no matter what. I love you, K, and I’m going to do whatever I can to help you whenever you need me.””
    Gloria
  • ““That’s not the point. They know you now, so they gonna keep fuckin’ wit’ you until they get something on you. That means you gotta stay one step ahead of them. You hafta make sure you always clean when you on the block. You can’t keep a lot of money on you, no weed, no liquor, nothing that gives them a reason to fuck wit’ you. If you dirty and you see them before they see you, get ghost on they ass. But, if they see you and you dirty, you gotta dash on them. Lakim
  • ““I hear you, but hear me real quick before you go. That shit sounds sweet, but if you not on the scene, then you won’t know what’s really goin’ on because you absent. Just because you got extra time on your hands, don’t take it for granted that everything is going smooth. Once you not on the scene, muhfuckas got a habit of changing the rules and your original setup, and if you don’t agree, then you got beef. You understand me? Remember: out of sight, out of mind.””
    Craig
