  “Enjoyed this book. The characters are likeable and you root for them early in the book. It is not as grim as "One Second After", though without the sudden loss of all services, perhaps not as realistic. There are times that it reads like entries in someone's diary-"Went here and did that", "went somewhere else and did something else". Making the main character into somewhat of a superman tended to submerge other characters. ”

  “Finally finished the book!!!!
  I stayed up til 5 am in the morning just to finish the book.
  Like many people pointed out already, the writing is a little amateurish and there are so many parts that repeat same stories over and over. But I can see some were intentionally repeated which I found pretty smart.
  Although it took me forever to get into the book, the last 30 % of the book was really good.
  The characters are very believable and the plot was very realistic and well thought out.
  I even had a nightmare while I was reading this book.
  I would give 4.5 stars!!! ”

  “This is one of the most enjoyable post-apocalyptic books I've read. Once again, it is fiction so you have to be ready to suspend your perception of reality a bit but if you do, the ride is fun.”
