  • Lola Nolan: High school junior with a singular sense of style. She´s out of the ordinary and isn´t afraid to show that she is different. She Lives in the Castro district of San Francisco with her two dads. Creates her own gorgeous clothing with different colours and every day you get a new Lola.
  • Cricket Bell: Cricket is the boy that lives next door to Lola Nolan. He is creative, has a great sense of style, and is mechanically inclined. He is very tall and extremely kind and loyal to his twin sister.
  • Lindsey Lim: Lindsey is Lola's best friend. She wants to be a detective. She calls Lola, Ned, as in Ned from Nancy Drew.
  • Nathan Nolan: One of Lola's fathers. He is very protective of Lola. In fact, he is. biologically, Lola's uncle since Lola's birth mother is his younger sister.
  • Andy Nolan: One of Lola's fathers. He owns a pie store. He is the more "nice" parent because Nathan is very protective, of course Andy also is protective but not as much as Nathan.
  • Calliope Bell: Cricket's twin sister and world class figure skater. She hates the idea of Lola and Cricket being together.
  • Max: Musician and Lola's 22 year old boyfriend. He's got tattoos, but he secretly loves reading.
  • Norah: Lola's former alcoholic mother and Nathan's sister. She is working as a fortune-teller by reading tea leaves, and is homeless.
