I have been an Agatha Christie fan since I was probably around 12 yrs. old, when I read Ten Little Indians and Halloween Party. The only one I didn't like was Nemesis.

I've always been fascinated by her novels, the way she creates the crime, the trails and distinguishing the killer. She is playing with the characteristics of all the actors of the novels. Even if you can get some hints about who is the killer? means that you are just lucky.

I thought this book was really good. It had a lot of "red herrings" that threw you off. Very good.

absolutely one of the best of Agatha's.you flap the pages making false guesses and never able to put all the pieces together for a whole picture, then it comes up with what has never crossed your mind-at least mine. this book is unique among all her works as to unique and unimitable idea behind it as the author herself puts it in the preface.

if you are going to try one of the Agatha's, I vote for this one

Agatha Christie is the best known mystery novelist of the 20th Century--and with good reason, for when it came to plots, truly fiendish plots, she could easily out-construct all competitors. She also had a knack for writing tongue-in-cheek, exhibiting a sly sense of humor for those sharp enough to catch it.

This book was really memorable. It w as also the first book of Agatha Christie that i read. It is a favourite of mine because of the way philosophical arguments are used to uncover the plot slowly. Yes, towards the end it may be possible to guess the likely murderer, but only because of the limit to the number of characters, not through logic or reason....
