Looking back I think it would have been better to simply read Korzybski;s original work instead of this book. The guest Foreword goes on and on about Rational Emotive Therapy by the inventor of RET and nothing about Korzybski's work - which is what the book is supposed to be about. It's not a platform to extoll the wonders of RET by RET's inventor. However, since the co-author of this book is an RET disciple and it was her book she saw nothing odd about the preaching on RET.

The entire book was a waste of time in my opinion. 2 chapters focused on Korzybskii but that was about it. Way more chapters were spent on people's psychological hang ups and nature that distort thinking than what Korzybski himself thought and taught.

Skip this book and just get Science and Sanity which was authored by Korzybski himself.
