Ridiculously Simplified Synopsis edit

- Alexandria Andros: The main character. Seventeen year old Alex has been on the run with her mother for the past three years. Alex is snarky and very feisty.
- Aiden St. Delphi: A Sentinel that Alex has had a crush on since she was a girl. Has storm cloud eyes and is 20, three years older than Alex. He is assigned to be her mentor.
- Seth: The apollyon (Really powerful halfblood, one in a generation).
- Caleb Nicolo: Alex's best friend and fellow troublemaker. Welcomes her back with open arms. Half Blood
- Lea Samos: A bitchy girl and Alex's in school arch nemesis. Half Blood and is drop-dead gorgeous
- Rachael Andros: Alex's mother, she took Alex and ran away three years ago but has never told Alex why.
- Deacon St. Delphi: Aiden's younger brother. Same age as Alex.
- Jackson Manos: A Half Blood. Good looking, always cracking onto Alex.
- Lucian: Alex's step-father. New main-minister of the council. Never showed much love to Alex before she and her mother fled.
- Marcus: Alex's Uncle (Her mothers brother) Head of the covenant.

Glossary edit
- Sentinel: Elite guards that are trained to hunt Daimons. Pures usually don't take this job because of the danger
- Guards: Halfs that usually did not make the Sentinel cut
- Daimon: Pures that are sucked dry of their aether. Deemed a fate worse than death
- Hematoi: children of the gods. Divided into who groups the pure blood (hematoi and hematoi parents) or half blood (hematoi and human parents). Pure bloods can control one or two elements.
- Apollyon: A very powerful half-blood who can use all the elements plus the fifth element Akasha. He is known as "The one who walks among the gods". There is only one in every generation.
