“I love this author. This is the second book I have read by her. (The first being "Two Rivers".) This novel is truly about people as opposed to being about events. Having said that, I was engaged with the story line and wanted to know how all of these characters would come together at the end, as I knew they must. A little too neatly tied up which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. But I loved the feel of the book. I realized that I read this book as a parent and as one half of a long term marriage, (The status of 2 main characters.) I think it might resonate more for parents than young people, but the author does really "get" the teen characters in the book as well. A gift for language.”
