Characters edit see section history

  • Katarina (Kat) Bishop: She's the leader of the group. She ran away from a life of thievery to go to a normal prep school, but she eventually came back. Two months ago she pulled a job that seemed impossible and she's back to do it all again. But it wasn't just any job--it was the job that seemed impossible to all aside from this teenage girl along with her friends. She is very independent and doesn't like to admit when she has been tricked or when she needs help, but luckily her group, especially Hale, knows this and plans ahead. She feels like she's divided by the normal prep life of high school and her international profile as an all star con artist. She is the teenage girl 007 Jane Bond.
  • W.W. Hale V: (W. W. Hale the Fifth) Kat's friend and love interest. He's known only as Hale as no one knows what the W in his name stands for. Kat has no idea what his first name is whatsoever and continues to guess. Hale is very rich. He is also bitter toward Nick, which only gets worse when Kat comes into the picture. At times he feels like Kat has left him behind, as if she didn't ever need him, or anyone else for that matter. He's easily frustrated with her, and gets mad at Kat whenever she goes on jobs alone.
  • Bobby Bishop: Kat's father. He was on the run during the last book and Kat had to prove he was innocent.
  • Uncle Eddie: Kat's great-uncle, adviser of the family who knows a lot when it comes to the art of the con. Used to be in love with Margaret Grey.
  • Gabrielle: Kat's cousin who much more feminine than Kat. She always seems to be out to get Kat in one way or another, or so it may be perceived. Gorgeous and flawless are her best assets in a con. Gabrielle is tall and graceful, and she toyed with Hale in the first book.
  • Hamish Bagshaw: Angus's brother who loves playing with explosives and is very competitive with his brother. Kat's cousin.
  • Angus Bagshaw: Hamish's brother who also loves playing with explosives and is very competitive with his brother. Kat's cousin.
  • Simon: Part of Kat's crew, Simon is a computer geek who can hack into just about anything, but he's pretty worthless in a fight. He has "resources" that allow him to hack and find plans of almost anything.
  • Nick Bennett: Son of an Interpol detective. Seemed to fancy Kat in the first book. Good at tailing people.
  • Margaret Grey: Margaret is a Con artist who is able to con Kat. She's considered the best con artist of them all, and she even conned Uncle Charlie and Eddie. She's about 50-70 years old at the least.
  • Amelia Bennett: Interpol agent who has developed an interest in Visily Romani, and is also the mother of Nick Bennett. She is a bit irked with Kat's group for setting up her son in the first book.
  • Uncle Charlie: The best forger in the business. Eddie's brother.
  • Oliver Kelly the Third: Owner of an auction house and the Cleopatra Emerald, which was stolen from the Millers by his grandfather.
  • Constance Miller: Daughter of the couple who originally found the Cleopatra Emerald.
  • Artie Dupree: Add a description of this character.
  • Marcus: Hale's butler/driver
  • Pierre LaFont: Owner of LaFont Auction house in Monaco.
