Characters edit see section history

  • Katarina (Kat) Bishop: Our main character. She's the leader of the group. She ran away from a life of thievery to go to a normal prep school, but she eventually came back. Two months ago she pulled a job that seemed impossible and she's back to do it all again. But it wasn't just any job--it was the job that seemed impossible to all aside from this teenage girl along with her friends. She is very independent and doesn't like to admit when she has been tricked or when she needs help, but luckily her group, especially Hale, knows this and plans ahead. She feels like she's divided by the normal prep life of high school and her international profile as an all star con artist. She is the teenage girl 007 Jane Bond.
  • W.W. Hale V: Kat's friend and love interest. He's known only as Hale as no one knows what the W in his name stands for. Kat has no idea what his first name is whatsoever and continues to guess. Hale is very rich. He is also bitter toward Nick, which only gets worse when Kat comes into the picture. At times he feels like Kat has left him behind as if she didn't ever need him, or anyone else for that matter. He's easily frustrated with her. Mad at Kat whenever she goes on jobs alone.
  • Bobby Bishop: Kat's father. He was on the run during the last book and Kat had to prove he was innocent. Not necessarily the most loving father to Kat, but it's all he could do when he's a ciminal.
  • Uncle Eddie: Kat's great-uncle, adviser of the family and knows a lot when it comes to the art of the con. Used to be in love with Margaret Grey.
  • Gabrielle: Kat's cousin, much more feminine than Kat. She always seems to be out to get Kat in one way or another, or so it may be perceived by the reader. Gorgeous and flawless are her best assets in a con. Tall and graceful toyed with Hale in the first book.
  • Hamish Bagshaw: Angus's brother who loves playing with explosives and is very competitive with his brother. Kat's cousin.
  • Angus Bagshaw: Hamish's brother who also loves playing with explosives and is very competitive with his brother. Kat's cousin.
  • Simon: Part of Kat's crew, computer geek who can hack into just about anything but is pretty worthless in a fight. Has "resources" that allow him to hack and find plans of almost everything.
  • Nick Bennett: Son of an Interpol detective. Seemed to fancy Kat in the first book, but backs off in the second one.
  • Margaret Grey: a.k.a. Constance Miller and Maggie. A Con artist who is able to con Kat. Considered the best con artist of them all. Conned Uncle Charlie and Eddie. About 50-70 years old at the least.
  • Amelia Bennett: Interpol agent who has developed an interest in Visily Romani, also the mother of Nick Bennett. A bit irked with Kat's group for setting up her son in the first book.
