  • Elise Benton: Main character. A modern-day Elizabeth Bennett with an edge. attends coral ree where her mother is principle and father is a math teacher. gets an in with the cool kids because of her sister, Juliana, who falls hard for Chase and then Elise kinda falls in love with Derek and is the drama of the school
  • Derek Edwards: The Darcy-inspired character. His parents are big movie stars. is quiet shy and misunderstood as a spoil brat half the time. Just wants to be understood and is the schools hottest guy
  • Layla Benton: Elise and Juliana's sister. She is supposed to be like Lydia Bennett, only she's worse.
  • Juliana Benton: Sweet older sister, thinks everyone is nice deep down. Has a crush on Chase. Hates his sister with a passion though.
  • Webster Grant: The Wickham character. Befriends Elise, but is only looking out for himself. has had a fall out with derek in the past
  • Chase Baldwin: Charles Bingley dead on. Has a crush on Juliana and is Chelsea's older brother.
  • Campbell McGill: Layla's friend. Her father is a famous anchor.
  • Chelsea Baldwin: Chase's sister. A bitchy spoiled brat who has a crush on Derek.
  • Melinda Anton: Derek's mother. A famous action movies star actress.
  • Gifford: Chelsea's best friend.
  • Diana: Elise's cousin. cool, calm and collected and we don't really hear much from her in this story
  • Jackie: Derek's nanny.
  • Dr. Gardiner: Elise's mother and the new Coral Tree principal. who has the need to put the school back in place after its distraught of unruly behavior lead by Chelsea
  • Isaac Avenor: sophomore student in Elise's astronomy class, he is nervous and intent on doing well.
  • Jason Bigelow: Student at Coral Tree Prep, throws a party at his house.
  • Derek Edwards: Derek Edwards is a tall, muscular, good looking guy, who attends Coral Tree Prep where all the girls fawn over him since he is the son of Hollywood royalty. Although, he may seem arrogant at first, his real self comes out eventually.
  • Kaitlyn Benton: The youngest Benton sister, she is 10 years old.
  • Georgia Edwards: Derek's sister, she attends boarding school. Her situation is similar to Georgiana in Pride & Prejudice.
