- Monifa: Nurse and servant to Cleopatra. Took care of Cleopatra and did everything for her. Around what was thought to have been Cleopatra's mother's age.
- Irisi: Cleopatra's servant besides the older Monifa..Cleopatra's age. Sort of friends.
- Demetrius: Cleopatra's tutor; one of the most intelligent scholars at Alexandria's library.
- Pharoah Ptolemy XII: Pharoah of Egypt. Cleopatra's father.
- Lady Amandaris: Charmion's mother and main dancer for the royal dancers. Ptolemny XII's lover of 20 years.
- Charmion: Friend, confidant, and Half-Sister of Cleopatra. Daughter of Lady Amandaris and Ptolemy XII.
- Tryphaena (Cleopatra VI): Cleopatra's Eldest sister. Selfish, power-thirsting, and lazy.
- Berenike: Second oldest sibling of Cleopatra. Clever, ruthless, power-seeking, and calculated.
- Arsinoë: Youngest daughter of Ptolemy XII, Cleopatra's youngest sister.
- Ptolemy XIII: Fifth child of Ptolemy XII. One of Cleopatra's younger brothers.
- Ptolemy XIV: Sixth child of Ptolemy XII.
- Titus: Lover of Tryphaena, Nephew of Antiochus.
- Antiochus: Grand Vizier to Pharoah Ptolemy XII.
- Pothinus: Power hungry advisor to Ptolemy XIII.
- Captain Mshai: The captain of the royal ships. He also had a son who took over after he died with the same name.
- Marcus Antonius: Small part, but was loyal to Caesar and after his death became lover of Cleopatra.
- Julius Caesar: Lover of Cleopatra. One of the three triumvirates in Rome. Great military leader and conqueror.
