This was the beginning of my "Peter Mayle" phase. Fun, funny and an enjoyable read that will leave you wanting more (luckily there are more.) Indulge your inner Francophile and read this book.

    I picked up this book after I saw the mini-series on A & E. I fell in love with this book, as well as the sequels. I laughed a lot, got hungry a lot, and now love travel essays.
