- Morgaine: a psychic witch who typically dresses like a goth. Never seems to leave the apartment building and also afraid of the dark.
- Sylvestro "Sly" Flores: a vampire who consented to be turned so that he could try to save his dying wife and unborn daughter. Polices the neighborhood and chooses victims who are bad people.
- Jules: New apartment building manager who keeps numerous saltwater fish tanks in his own apartment
- Nathan: Shapeshifter who turns into a raven
- Jason: Very rich baseball pitcher and shapeshifter who turns into a falcon. Married to Merry and owns the apartment building which seems to attract supernatural tenants
- Mikhail: Very old vampire who produces a wine that can curb the appetite for blood and let vamps walk around in the day time.
- Konrad: Werewolf and former tenant of the apartment building. Mated to Merry's friend, Roz
- Chad: Resident ghost of the apartment building who was murdered back in the 60s because of a story he was writing. Very sarcastic. Able to be heard by the witches who are psychic and seen by Nathan.
