  • Gorbash: The dragon whose body Jim inhabits
  • Smrgol: Gorbash'a uncle. Famous for slaying the ogre of Gormely Keep...and for retelling it.
  • Carolinus: A grumpy magician who aids Jim on his quest to find Angie
  • Sir Brian Neville-Smythe: A bold, cheerful knight who becomes Jim's first companion.
