  • A. A.: The sporty member of the Ashleys, has a supermodel mom, lives in a penthouse suite in a hotel. The tallest of the group.
  • Ashley Spencer: The leader of the Ashleys; doesn't want to admit that Lauren is beautiful and rich.
  • Lauren Page: The main character of this book. Lauren is the one who gets picked on by the Ashleys. But one day, Lauren's dad becomes rich, and Lauren becomes pretty and popular.
  • Ashley Olivia Li (Lili): One of the Ashleys. Asian, with the "Asian parent thing" going on. She takes many classes and is expected to be beautiful and smart. Secretly, she wishes to run an upscale club.
  • Billy Reddy: A boy that goes to Gregory hall that the Ashley's all have a crush on. He has a sort of superstar effect on them. They have, on occasion, stalked him.
  • Tri: one of A.A.'s really good friends. Ashley's boyfriend, even though A.A and he both like each other. Short.
