Tess is a nerd in high school. She has 1 friend and always gets A's. Her mom thinks that she needs to be more outgoing, and fun-loving, but she just wants to be herself. On the otherhand, her sister Kristina is the star of the volleyball team, is the most popular girl in school, and is gorgeous. Tess enters an art contest, so she devotes most of her time into it. But when Kristina finds out she has cancer in her leg, everything changes, and she has to make priorities. Tess gets loads of friends, and everyone wants to hang out with her and get the scoop about Kristina. When Kris's leg gets removed, Tess's world changes right in front of her.
