Indeed, her social-climbing parents continually remind her how fortunate she is to be (almost) betrothed to a future duke -- even one as dim-witted as Rupert. However, when Olivia meets Georgiana's intended, Tarquin Brook-Chatfield, the Duke of Sconce, Olivia rejects fate and follows her heart. Based on "The Princess and the Pea," The Duke Is Mine is the 3rd installment of Eloisa James' Happily Ever Afters series, which begins with the Cinderella-themed A Kiss at Midnight.
