Notes for Parents edit see section history

Reading Level: Ages 4-8

This is a good book for parents and children to read together. It includes a fiction story, several facts about flag etiquette, six discussion questions, and a suggested activity. The facts and questions reinforce the theme of flag etiquette. The book also tells you the proper way to fold an American flag. You can use a real flag to demonstrate this, or print a coloring sheet off the Internet and practice folding the paper flag. This book is also a good tool to use with Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops, and to read in classrooms. It is a nice tie-in to patriotic holidays.
