this book deals with the revival of the sailor valentine art form. plenty of large pictures, nicely laid out. some bios are a little over-wrought. yeh, the sea is inspirational to all of us. back to the images!

its the new classic, heh. best examples are the designers that keep the geometric form going, but push on it.

my favorites are the designers that keep that rough, sincere edge about their work. a few of the sailor valentine designers create works so intricately tiny...
