“Most books about Merlin are linked in some way with Arthur or Avalon. Not this book (although I think later in the trilogy Arthur does show up). Merlin had travelled with Jason and the Argonauts when they went to steel the Golden Fleece. 700 years later Merlin and Jason meet again to save Jason's sons - the son's Medea "killed" 700 years earlier. Although, I did enjoy this book, I did tend to get skeptical at some points. Which is really odd since I mostly read fantasy and sci/fi. ”
