Dort kommt es zu einem grausamen Überfall von Rebellen aus dem Nachbarstaat. Chanda muss miterleben, wie ihre Geschwister als Kindersoldaten verschleppt werden. Mit ihrem Freund Nelson begibt sich Chanda auf die gefährliche Suche durch den Busch.
