  • Susannah "Suze" Simon: The protagonist and a mediator of the spirits of the dead. She will eventually fall in love with a hundred fifty year old ghost hottie.
  • Jesse de Silva: The ghost whom Suze fell in love with. He was about a hundred and fifty years old when he met Suze. He was killed in Suze's house which is a boarding house back in his time.
  • David "Doc" Ackerman: Suze's youngest and very intelligent stepbrother.
  • Kelly Prescott: The Class President and the typical mean girl.
  • Greg Sanderson: The dead girl, Cheryl McKenna's boyfriend.
  • Cheryl McKenna: Greg Sanderson's girlfriend who died because of a burst appendix two months before her prom.
