“I've just finished reading this and I'm breathless! Thank goodness I was able to finish it before bedtime, otherwise, I'd have been up however long it took to get to the end.
The book was a tad slow at first, and I was so afraid that Baldacci was becoming formulaic. I was just about to set it aside when all of a sudden, the story kicked into high gear and I had no choice but to hang on for the ride. It was punctuated by unexpected twists and turns. Except for our fearless duo, Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, the good guys and the bad guys were hard to predict. Dramatic thriller is definitely the genre.
The action revolves around an alleged serial killer named Edgar Roy whose mental capacity goes far beyond photograhic memory. His ability to process millions of pieces of random information and analyze it almost instantly has earned him the nickname The Analyst and has made him a highly valuable asset to anyone whose priority is national security. With every new death, however, Sean and Michelle are trying to decide who they can trust and if someone believes Roy is more valuable dead than alive.”
