  • Jocelyn "Joss" Marshall: The other main character of the story, tries to keep to herself, soon is befriended, much to her annoyance, by Kat.
  • Dylan: One of the main characters of the story, has been friends with Marco since they were small, but has decided he wants out from Marco. Dylan also has a crush on Joss.
  • Marco: Marco is a "bully", he uses anyone and everyone around him to get what he wants.
  • Kat Dawson: goes out of her way to befriend Joss after an incident involving Marco. Kat tries very hard at getting Joss to open up.
  • Eric: Marco and Dylan's friend. Quiet.
  • Rob Grayson: Geek.
  • Jill Marshall: Joss's younger sister. Has a Talent.
  • Trina: Childhood friend of Joss; they are no longer friends.

  • Krista Pace: Taken a "Talent" that was taken to a state school, NIAC took her.
  • Phil Meeks: Has a Talent.
