Liked It“A fun romp! I wasn't entirely sure I liked some of the main characters in the beginning, but they grew on me. I also enjoyed the twists and turns in the plot - not entirely unexpected, but nonetheless well-done. I'll definitely read more by this author!” see full review » see other reviews » |
Didn’t Like It1 of 1 members found this review helpful“Yuck, couldn't even get through the first 50 pages. The main characters were too unappealing as they attempt to negotiate an Uncle's will that demands his young adoptive charge marry one of her cousins or lose her inheritance.” see full review » see other reviews » |
“These books are so very entertaining and an excellent escape. This would be a fun book to share with your daughter.”

Its just not getting me interested, the characters are none that I find even a mere curiousity to continue knowing and the heroine Kitty has been introduced with nothing but constrained immaturity and nothing at all sparks my interest to continue. With too many books waiting a chance to be read, this one gets a pass from me.”

I think there's plenty of romance in it, I enjoyed watching Freddy and Kitty scramble through Kitty's plans--and failed plans. Watching Freddy develop his feelings for Kitty was one of the best things about the novel--it was so subtle, but I knew I could see it, though I was dreading the thought that she was still might be in love with Jack anyway, who seems to have no good qualities.
I checked it out from the library wanting some romance, and I think Cotillion fit the bill perfectly. Georgette Heyer is always a good read.”

This Regency romance was entertaining and amusing with a comic ending leaving all lovers perfectly matched!”
