“Before I review Trial By Fire, can I just say that the Raised By Wolves series is now my favourite YA series about werewolves. I love it so much! Trial By Fire blew me away!

I don’t know where to even start. I love everything about this book: the characters, the plotlines, the writing style, the action, the twists etc. I really enjoy seeing Bryn in her new role as Alpha. It changed her in ways that I expected but deep down she is still Bryn and I love her for that. The pack-bonds between Bryn and her pack were very well done. I absolutely adore Bryn, Devon, Lake, Chase and Maddy’s interactions. They were fantastic! I also love how we got to know more about Ali’s past. It was just heart-breaking. It was great to see Callum too! I missed him.

The plot was just so good with all the twists and turns that I never saw them coming at all. The psychics were really scary especially Caroline. What a creepy kid… This brings me to the battle between the psychics and Bryn’s pack. It was so epic! Very intense and heart-wrenching but still epic. I love it! Now for the biggest twist of them all: Lucas. I had a funny feeling about him when we first met him but I didn’t expect it to turn out like this. I mean, I feel really bad for him being abused by Shay and the psychics but dude, Bryn helped you. She almost lost Lake to Shay because of you. She almost lost Chase and Devon. Eric (one of the wolves in her pack) died because she didn’t want to hand you back to the psychics. Just ughhh. I blame Shay for this. I hate him so much. Sighs.

In conclusion, I absolutely loved Trial By Fire! My favourite book so far! I cannot wait to get my hands on Taken By Storm!

“Brynn takes in a male were from Shay's pack and tries to determine why Shay sent the wolf to her and what a group of psychics have to do with it. Shay turns up to make a deal and things get tricky. Lots of twists on top of one another up until the end. Really good can't wait until the next book. ”
