Have you ever made such a bad decision that it mentally hurt someone, or even physically hurt him or her as well? Well, in the story My Life Undecided by Jessica Brody, a fifteen-year-old girl who can’t make any good decisions at all has to make a lot of them. First, she falls down a well and gets trapped for three days. Also she received the nickname Baby Brooklyn from the Fox news channel. Then she throws a party in a model home for a real estate agency and burns the house down. After this she loses her best friend who had the idea to throw the party. After she realizes that she can’t make any good decisions and if she makes one more bad decision she could get thrown in jail, she starts a blog so people can vote on how she lives her life. This book is a great read for teenage girls, and girls who can’t make any decisions. It also includes very important life lessons like what to do when you fall down a well or get stuck in the middle of a robbery scene. This book is a good example of how to not live you’re life and also what to do to fix it if you do make bad decisions.
My rating: A- for the great storyline, amazing characterization and reality to life but points off for the graphicness of it, in a not so great way.
