“The book follows closely historical facts, but it seems too free in the interpretation of feelings or the way the characters might have felt. The end of the book was moving, but a few details through the story disturbed me. One of those: the princess does not want to continue studying and is only interested in learning embroidery and how to play the PIANO... in 1410! Three centuries before the invention of the piano!
A couple of serious misspellings are not justified in a decently-presented 26th edition which is not precisely cheap according to Portuguese standards. Examples: *pretenção for "pretensão", or "tensão" when it should have been its heterograph "tenção".”
