This story takes you from the woods of Oregon and straight into the forests of India. It sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I never imagined that I would be reading a story about tigers, let alone shapeshifting tigers to begin with.
All I can say is this was a great book and I look forward to reading the sequel.

I came across this book by chance on Amazon.com and I am extremely glad I did. The first thing that intrigued me about this book was actually the cover which is mesmerizing, but the true spellbinding thing about this book is the story itself. Kelsey Hayes our heroine has been put off close relationships with people after the death of her parents at an early age. Even her foster parents who she loves don't really know her that well. Things change though after she meets the tiger Dhiren during her summer job at the circus. Eventually she finds herself in India battling mythical creatures, uncovering ancient prophecies, and learning that the hardest thing she might have to do is learn to once again open up her heart.
Kelsey was a courageous and kindhearted woman that I could really relate to. She has gone through many hardships since the death of her parents and because of this finds it hard to be close to people. She really grows throughout this book and I think that’s what I loved most about her. Getting to know her and seeing how much she changes as a person was really enjoyable and I can’t wait to read the rest of her journey.
Dhiren (Ren) is a memorable character that really made the book for me. He is sweet and kind, but he also has flaws and makes his own mistakes. Ren has to learn how to live in this new time and adapt so that he can finally get rid of his curse as well as prove to Kelsey that love is always worth the risk.
Colleen Houck has managed to weave together the perfect blend of Indian culture, romance, adventure, and Mythology in order to create Tiger's Curse, making it a wonderful read for any romance/adventure fans.”
“Tiger's Curse is magical. It is filled with romance and epic adventure. Warning these book will cause you to forget about everything else until you complete the series. This series has something for both boys and girls. Give it a try, you won't regret it. ”

It's great because it doesn't bore you with the usual vampire, fairy, angels etc story. Romance fantasy reader should definitely read this.”
