“This book starts out with Kelsey, who is just a normal 17 year old girl looking for a summer job to help her pay for college. She gets a job for a circus that's in town, and soon finds herself completely fascinated by the white tiger they have. She soon gets pulled into a 300 year old curse, and finds out she's much less ordinary than she thought. She is what they call Durga's favored one, and Durga is an Indian goddess. Together with Ren, the half tiger half man, they must find a way that lifts the curse on Ren and his brother, Kishan. Along the way Kesley falls love with the human version of Ren. Although, since her parents died, she thinks that everyone you love is going to leave some way or another, so she thinks Ren is putting up a big act. In the end she decides to not have a relationship with him, which proves more difficult than it should be. She ends up breaking part of the curse, where Ren can now be a human for six hours instead of twenty four minutes. The things I liked about this book were the connection between her and Ren and also, Kelsey is exactly like me in both looks and attitude so it makes it easier for me to relate. The thing I dislike about this book was that I couldn't stop reading, I found it very addictive.”
