Emerson Cole: She is a 17-year old girl who sees people from the past. She goes by "Em" to her family and close friends. Her parents died four years before the story began. Believes she's crazy or has a condition, seeing people from the past has become even harder to cope with since her parents died.
Michael Weaver: Consultant for the Hourglass. Very good looking, not much older than Emerson.
Thomas: Emerson's brother and guardian, roughly two decades older than her. An architect who is very talented his working partner is Dru and they both love Emerson.
Dru: Thomas' wife. Loves Emerson like a daughter. She's amazing at throwing things together be it room-design or fashionable outfits.
Lilliana "Lily" Garcia: Em's best friend. Her only friend to stick with her over the years. Her grandmother owns Murphy's Law -- a coffee shop with delicious Cubanos and empanadas.
Jonathan Landers: The villian of the story. Currently head of Hourglass.
Liam Ballard: Scientist, Kalebs dad. Founder of Hourglass.
Grace Ballard: Liams wife. Has the same abilities as Emerson.
Kaleb Ballard: Liams son, and Michaels best friend. REALLY good looking and pretty obnoxious, though thats just his 'outer wall'
Ava: One of the people who live in hourglass. Connected to Michael somehow, she is stunning, very tall with dark hair.
Dr. Cat Rooks: Works at the college funded by Hourglass (for people with 'abilities') She is a house mother, described as being pretty and in her early thirties.
Nate: He has time-related powers like Michael and Em. Lives in the college house with the others. A friend of Michael.
Dune: He also has powers. Lives in the house too. An exceptional researcher.
