Susan was a pretty middle-aged widow who suffered the loss of her only two sons. Her marriage had been a terrific one to a man she deeply loved. She didn’t want or feel the need to fall in love again - or so she thought. She was content - until she met David. Readers can follow how she Survived to Love Again in this dramatic and tender story by Dolores James.

Susan was a sophisticated, bright, and accomplished lady with an incredible amount of faith. She had survived and thrived through the devastation of losing her husband and sons. Susan and her husband Randy had met at a Sweet Shop in a small town close to where Susan lived. At that time, she was engaged to be married to Tyler Smith. With Susan and Randy, it was one of those “love at first sight” romances. They eventually married and after many happy years, Susan lost Randy to cancer.

Still a pretty blonde, with an attractive petite figure and a magnetic personality, Susan attracted many admirers. While some proposed marriage, she never took them very serious. She didn’t think she could be happy with another man. She already had the love of her life, she didn’t need another one. But everything changed when she met David. Of all the many admirers she had, she had to fall in love with the one man who wouldn’t say “I love you” to her. In between their on again-off again relationship, Susan met other men who loved her, but she didn’t love them the way she loved David.

Susan felt she had fallen in love with a man who couldn’t or wouldn’t say he loved her. Maybe she was foolish to love David not knowing if he loved her. Maybe it was time to walk away. But after losing her loved ones, she didn’t want to lose David, too. Readers can witness if Susan’s love story will have a happy or sad ending as they immerse in this intriguing read.
