My better half took this book before I could and read it in a day and a half. He just read most of the time those days. He really liked it and has added another author to his list.

Jason, a rookie intern reporter, looking for his big break and a full time position with the Seattle Mirror, reports on a missing woman, Karen, who disappears on a dark, stormy night on her way to visit her sister after a fight with her boyfriend. Staying with the story, even after stepping on some toes, can Jason keep his job and break the case? Is her boyfriend involved? Her creepy college professor/priest? Ancient religious influences make this book a scary page turner!

Not a bad book! I liked Jason as the main character. Not without his flaws, he was still a realistic, down-to-earth character. The plot was excellent - something that hasn't been in very many books, with it's own little twists. I liked how all the details of the case came together, and if it hadn't been Jason who pushed, it wouldn't have happened that way. Jason was just as relentless in seeking the truth, like any good detective would. Can't wait for the next one.
