“I liked it, it was a nice love story. But this book just serves to set up everything-the characters and the relationships. It ends off with a cliffhanger of course, and theres much left to be seen. I like it well enough to keep reading the series.

Only a few things I found weird about the book. The female lead, Amber, is supposed to be this witch with amazing powers but when she's faced with trouble, witchcraft was always described to be too time-consuming or too ineffective,...”
