PETER PAN IN SCARLET by Geraldine McCaughrean should be read by every fan of J.M. Barrie's PETER PAN.

The reader will return to the age at which they first read the original and re-experience the wonder of seeing the world...

An awesome sequel to Peter & Wendy, where the origianal Lost Boys and Wendy, now grown up, return to Neverland and a depressed Peter, who has been abandoned by Hook and his Pirates, who died off, and the Lost Boys, who broke Peter's one rule and grew up. They go off on an adventure in Hook's abandoned pirate ship, taking along Marvello, an old circus master, who is subtly evil and seems to possess Peter. When they find the long-lost treasure and Marvello reveals that he is Hook, will Peter succumb to evil?

It's about the original kids that were in the first Peter Pan except Wendy's brothers; but they are all growen up and are having nightmears about Neverland. Knowing that they can't go in as a grown-up they try to find ways to get in. Then one of them remembers that if you are waring kids close on that you will become a kid again. Now the only problem was that they needed away to fly there, because without fairy dust they couldn't fly to Neverland. Remebering what Peter had said about how a fairy is born when a child laufs they go to the park.

Interesting book that brought back a lot of memories of my childhood. I also loved the Peter Pan character he is such a dude - totally brave, boisterous, and a little dumb. I would recommend this book to everyone. If you are a kid it reminds you to be a kid and if you are an adult it reminds you to be a kid, but it also reminds you of why it is good to be an adult.
